Counselling relationships are based on trust, respect, and confidentiality. Relationships lies at the heart of all my work and forms the foundation of my approach.
Working together with you, I aim to help you process difficult situations or feelings, by offering a welcoming, safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore your inner thoughts and feelings, feel heard and understood, develop a greater understanding of yourself and your deep rooted issues, find patterns and make connections, form new perspectives, forge better relationships with yourself and others and work out new ways to deal with your problems and live a more fulfilling live.
I am trained to help you understand your feelings and how to deal with them. Our work together will enable you to identify your resources and strengths and to encourage positive change.
Together we will work out how best to work through and resolve these deep-rooted issues that you may or may not be aware of and how they may be impacting you today and agree on the strategies to help you move forward.
I tailor the work to you depending on what you wish to explore and how many sessions you require. Any changes you might make are of your own choosing.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. Healing from trauma and taking care of our mental health is an ongoing process, and I’d love the opportunity to be a part of your journey.
